Centrifugal Casting — Dense Cylindrical & Ring Parts
Centrifugal casting spins the mould as the metal solidifies, driving impurities to the bore and producing a dense, porosity-free structure. It is the right process for bushings, liners, sleeves, rings and other rotationally symmetric parts.
What Centrifugal Casting Excels At
Rotation during solidification produces a fine, dense grain with no centre-line porosity — properties that matter in wear rings, liners and bearing surfaces. It also lets us cast bi-metal parts (for example a steel body with a bronze or high-alloy bore).
| Parameter | Typical capability |
|---|---|
| Materials | Bronze, grey/ductile iron, carbon steel, stainless, bi-metal combinations |
| Part geometry | Cylinders, rings, sleeves, liners, hollow bar |
| Outside diameter | 50–600 mm |
| Length | up to 2,000 mm |
| Key advantage | Porosity-free, fine grain, bi-metal capability |

FAQ
Can you cast bi-metal parts?
Yes — a steel or iron body with a bronze or high-alloy bore is a common request for wear applications. Tell us the service conditions and we recommend the combination.
What sizes can you cast?
Rotationally symmetric parts up to about 100–600 mm diameter and up to 2,000 mm length. Send your drawing and we confirm.
Do you machine the casting?
Yes, machining and finishing are done in-house to your drawing.
Send your drawing, quantity and target delivery date.
