Questions buyers ask about castings

How do you prevent batch-to-batch inconsistency?
Specify the required chemistry checks, heat-treatment records, mechanical testing and heat-number traceability in the inspection plan. The agreed records provide a basis for comparing batches.
Do you accept casting defects found at our factory?
Send photos, inspection results and batch details for porosity, shrinkage, inclusions or dimensional defects. Coverage and any credit, remake or replacement follow the agreed warranty terms.
Can you machine the castings as well?
Yes — that is the option most of our customers choose. One purchase order covers casting, heat treatment, machining, surface treatment and inspection.
Which casting process should I choose?
Sand for large and low volume, investment for tight tolerance and fine finish, die casting for high volume aluminium, lost foam for complex internal geometry. Send the drawing and annual volume and we will quote two options side by side.
