- Drawing and material review — specification, tolerance and standard agreed before production
- First-article inspection — a dimensional report before the batch runs
- In-process checks — sampling at key stages, not just at the end
- Final inspection and documentation — dimensional, material and test certificates (e.g. EN 10204 3.1) as required
- Third-party verification — SGS, BV or TÜV inspection arranged on request for UT, MT, spectro or tensile testing
