Rolled Ring Forgings — Seamless Rings & Flanges
Rolled ring forging produces seamless rings with a continuous, circumferential grain flow — the ideal microstructure for bearings, flanges, gears and pressure vessel parts that must survive fatigue and pressure cycling.
Why Seamless Rings Matter
A rolled ring has no weld seam and a grain flow that follows the ring’s circumference, which is exactly what you want in a rotating or pressurised part. Compared to a ring cut from plate, it is stronger, tougher and more fatigue-resistant.
| Parameter | Typical capability |
|---|---|
| Materials | Carbon steel, alloy steel (42CrMo/4140, 40CrNiMo), stainless (304/316), aluminium |
| Outside diameter | 100–2,500 mm |
| Height | up to 500 mm |
| Key advantage | Seamless, circumferential grain flow, high fatigue strength |

FAQ
What is the advantage of a rolled ring over a cut ring?
A rolled ring is seamless with circumferential grain flow, so it is stronger and more fatigue-resistant than a ring cut from plate. It also wastes far less material.
What sizes can you roll?
Rings from about 100 to 2,500 mm outside diameter. Send your drawing and we confirm.
Can you machine the ring after forging?
Yes — machining, heat treatment and finishing are done in-house.
Send your drawing, quantity and target delivery date.
